My mother died in august 2021. She was holding fix deposit @9.25% in a bank with the maturity date of in 2025. Being a nominee I don't want to break the fix deposit since the interest was on higher side. I want the same fix deposit to be transferred in my name with the same interest rate. Is is possible to do so. The bank is refusing to do the same. Please advice.

If bank do not agree to continue the FD in your i.e. nominee's name, no alternative.

NO other legal option, but to request the bank to continue the FD as per recent terms.
