when a share is valued incusive of dividend,to be paid,it is cum dividend.
and after payment of div value of shares reduces as it becomes ex div.

if u buy share cum-dividend, deduct the amt of dividend recd later from cost of purchase. otherwise, credit dividend in P&L.
