12 September 2011 I Am C.S Final student and also pursuing C.A. I would like to know whether it is compulsory to undergo for 15 months training if i am doing article ship under C.A. If i doesn't undergo this 15 month practical training, what are the the consequences?
Can we practice both C.A & C.S? if not then can we practice C.A and only acquire membership of C.S ?

13 September 2011 You can do either of two practise CA or CS ..!! if you want to do CA practise then there is no need to do CS training..even without doing training you get CS membership no. but it is called LCS ( licenciate membership no.)If you want to be in employment of cs or in practise ofcs you have to complete cs 15 month training then only you get ACS membership no.( associate company secretary).
now its upto you which profession you want to do in future. you can choose either of two. all training requirement has to be fulfilled to ACS or ACA no.
