Whether Service Tax charged on goods Transport Agencies can be set off against service tax paid on telephone bills and internet bills.

FIRST OF ALL IF WE ARE CHARGING S.TAX ON GTA IT WOULD BE INPUT FOR US, AND S.TAX ON TEL.BILLS ETC. IS ALSO AN INPUT SO QUESTION OF SET OFF DOES NOT ARISE.
IF U ARE STILL HAVE DOUBT MAKE IT CLEAR THAT U ARE A GTA OR SERVICE TAKER OF A GTA.

Yes you can take the credit for ST paid on telephone bills and interenet bills provided you are using them as input services.
