26 July 2014 I am doing business of manufacturing nails & for which raw material is copper wire on which I have paid Excise & CST levied by Supplier. My Turnover is below Rs.1Crore.
I want to Know How Can I take Credit of Excise & CSt Paid On Raw material if I am Not passing on Excise duty & CST to My Customers.
Please Reply Quickly.Its Urgent

26 July 2014 If you want to registered with central excise and pay duty then you can take the cenvat credit of input and input services.

and pls mention what is the rate of duty for above mentioned Product

27 July 2014 SSI exemption is available to all units upto the turnover of 1.5cr and no need to pay excise duty.
