10 October 2013 Respected Sir / Madam,

Whether Credit in Central Excise Account can be Adjusted against Service Tax Liablity , Interest & Penalty of Past Years...

Also, If Show Cause is issued for payment of Service tax of past years (Goods Transport Agency) ..can the Assessee go for the Service Tax Scheme...

10 October 2013 cenvat credit can be utilised for service tax duty payment only interest and penalty can not paid from cenvat credit.

11 October 2013 If Show Cause notice is issued for Non - Levy , Non - Payment, Short - Levy or Short - Payment...in case of Service availed from a Goods Transport Agency...

Can the Assessee on whom the notice is served ...Enter into the Scheme of Service Tax..& Pay Accordingly...
