26 December 2008 what are the steps in formation of a HUF? And also what are legal formalities to complied with for the formation of a HUF?

26 December 2008 You cannot creat an HUF, it should be either existing or become one due to act of parties like marriage, birth of child etc.

No specific declaration is necessary becasue law treats you to be an HUF unless you are specifically and expressly partitioned.
