I am a student from Mumbai and I have not specified in my demand draft for cpt registration that the demand draft is payable at Mumbai. Is there any problem?

There should not be any problem as long as you have the draft payable at par (which is payable anywhere in India). Most of the banks now issue drafts payable at par. I hope it is not an outstation draft, I am assuming you took the draft from a bank in Mumbai itself.
