19 August 2012 Hello Experts, Pls take this very immediately and resolve my query ASAP.

I have enrolled for CPT last year but unfortunately i couldn't able to clear CPT. But now new amendment has been passed, Direct entry for CA those who have passed degree. I have completed B.com this year. Am i eligible to register for Ipcc on the grounds of Direct enty scheme or i must and should undergo for Cpt only or what? If i can be eligible to go for Direct entry scheme, what are all subjects needs to considered for calculation of percentage, whether only a core subjects or core subjects includes languages also but excluding optional subjects?

20 August 2012 You can apply for direct entry.

You must have secured at least 55% and studied at least 3 papers of 100 marks each among the following:
Accounting, Auditing, Mercantile Laws, Corporate Laws, Economics,
Management (including Financial Management), Taxation (including
Direct Tax Laws and Indirect Tax Laws), Costing, Business
Administration or Management Accounting
