13 June 2015 A and B sharing 2/3rd. of profits of the firm and C and D are sharing in the ratio of 3:2. find the ratio of A:B:C:D.

14 June 2015 A & B are share 2/3rd means they share it equally and the remaining 1/3rd is shared by C & D in 3:2.
A = 2/3 x 1/2 = 1/3
B = 2/3 x 1/2 = 1/3
C = 1/3 x 3/5 = 1/5
D = 1/3 x 2/5 = 2/15
Converting to common denominator which is LCM
we have
A = 1/3 x 5/5 = 5/15
B = 1/3 x 5/5 = 5/15
C = 1/5 X 3/3 = 3/15
D = 2/15
Profit sharing ratio is 5:5:3:2
