Is it mandatory to complete cpe hours if a person is a non practising CA

Yes, It is mandatory but only 10 hours per year and it is also unstructured means reding at home, surfing site like caclubindia etc. and you have to file declaration every year before 31.03 of finishing year. means for 2011 year you have to file before 31.03.2011

Yes you have to Complete 45 hours in 3 years block starting from 2008. Minimum 10 hrs in each year & total 45 hrs in 3 years
