23 September 2010 Dear Rahul Sir
Can u guide me whether CPA-Australia is worth??I will be a CA soon and want to pursue CPA-Australia.. Can I work there and simultaneouly give CPA exams(by MRA agreement)?? Plz provide me the information regarding the same in detail...
I wud be very thankful to u...

24 September 2010 Dear Ashish, in my view any international degree is worth , no doubt in that.

However, just like CA, which has more worth in India, the same way CPA Australia will have more value and recognition in case you work in Australia.

However, from the view point of out of Australia, additional degree will certainly help, since in the present globalization world most of the MNC work with different countries and additional knowledge and degree of outside India will certainly help.

So no harm , in it. In my view go ahead and evaluate other international degrees too...if you are interested.

24 September 2010 You can look for CFA, CMA from US or CMA from CIMA, also check the ACCA, UK.

Also, there are chances that very soon, CPA (US) exams can be given from India also in near future. they are working on it.
