what are the examles of direct and indirect costs?

Direct Costs are all cost incurred in the manufacture eg Raw Material Consumed, Stores and Spares, Labour Payment, Power and Fuel, Carriage Inward, royalty. Indirect Cost are Repairs of machinery, taxes, fees, salaries not directly related to manufacture of product.
