06 November 2008 My company is manufacturing Cement.
We want to start from small plans to cut cost mainly in bank charges ,fund collection, day to day expenses, staff welfare activities, etc

06 November 2008 Start a zero based targetted cost exercise. It means acceptance only of a function that adds value and denial of incurrence of expenditure unless the rationale is understood. It is a tough exercise, but it will lead you to desirec economy across the board.

10 November 2008 Reduce Entertainment expenses, business promotion expenses, telephone expenses, stop new recruitment expenses, limit tours and fix small limit on travel, tour and conveyance, defer capital expenditure if possible
