09 May 2013 I am ipcc student ,i feel problem in cost only ,pls suggest me any referance so that i can study like all other subjects because in cost i think every question is different and there are so many formula or methods so tell me how to study ,how much time should be given in this subject or else it might play an evil role in my ipcc study .

09 May 2013 Costing is really a analytic subject but there is nothing to worry here. Just start first thing with a positive thought that i can do it. Fairly any subject, prima facie, requires just 100 hrs. (avg. student)
Think from a production manager point of view every where. "If it was my factory how would i calculate cost for this, why should i include here and not their, what kind and nature of expenditure it is."
Apart from this you have 1 giant topic in costing i.e. standard costing, the other is marginal costing.

Faraz everything is just based on your analtics just start thinking and yes be patient and do. Take help of seniors around you, join some classes if you really feel subject is greek and latin.

Honestly speaking, I never went classes but yes it took much time for sure.
