Correction in pan & tan no

My Question is I have changed the name of My Company its a Pvt Ltd Company and proper approval & Certificate of name change is also received from ROC, now can i use PAN & TAN nos issued in the names prior to name change,can we apply for correction in PAN & TAN Data or we have to apply for fresh PAN & TAN nos in new name pls suggest.

No need to apply for fresh TAN & PAN no., You can use existing PAN and TAN account number. Only need to apply for change in existing PAN & TAN record with NSDL.

Obviously there is no change in the assessee and just a change of name and hence you have to apply for correction in PAN & TAN Data
