Is it true that some amendments have been made and that as on today all cooperative banks are covered under RTI Act 2005.

The Supreme Court has held that cooperative banks registered under the Kerala Cooperative Societies Act will not fall within the definition of Public Authority as defined under Section 2(h) of the Right to Information (RTI) Act.
