Converstion of existing pratner ship to LLP

06 May 2010 Dear sir,

Our partnership firm (Urvashi Real Estate)is still actively running its business. We would like to convert it to LLP format, so can we simply convert to LLP just like registaring a new firm or anymore formalities have to done.

Like dissolution of partnership firm,which is under Partnership act 1932

or anything like that.

Kindly give us suggestion.

06 May 2010 An existing partnership firm can be converted into LLP. There is no requirement for dissolutuion of the firm. You just have to follow the procedure for getting the LLP registered.
