Conversion of company into llp

10 April 2015 I want to convert a private company into LLP. The form 1A(name availability) ask to change the DIN of Directors into DPIN. My query is whether The DIN will get invalid after conversion? if yes ,then what is the solution.Because the directors(of the co. to be converted into LLP) are directors of 2 other company as well.
Plz help

10 April 2015 DIN and DPIN both are the same. For name reservation on conversion from Pvt Ltd to LLP, you need to file LLP Form 1. No such query should be asked.

10 April 2015 No I am asked to file DIN4 before Form 1..This is msg I am getting "whether resident of india not pre filled,.please update the records w.r.t. the DPIN from DIN 4 and then fill Form 1"

What should I do?

13 April 2015 This is because the residential status of the respective Director/Designated Partner is not updated with MCA. File DIN-4 first for updating residential status and then proceed with name availability.
