convicts cannot enter into a contract till sentence. but if he wants to defend his case with the help of advocate then, it is also a contract?

yes my Friend you are true in regards that a Convict cannot enter into a Contract,
But; Defence is a Right provided under the Law which could be availed by any convicted person.
