Consolidation of FS in terms of US GAAP

We have subsidaries in US. we consolidate our accounts in terms of Indian GAAP. My question is do we need to prepare consolidated FS in terms of USGAAP just because we got US Subsidiary.
If not , then when an Indian Company has to prepare and present the accounts in terms of US GAAP?
