Treatment of minority interest loss in balance sheet while preparing consolidation of accounts.

We are showing the minority interest as separate line item unde liabilities when there is positive minority share. if share of loss of subsidiary is exceeding it share of share capital it will lead to negative minority interest. i want to know how to treat this negative mionority interest in consolidated balance sheet
