16 August 2013 it will be better to have exp of at least 6-9 months both in tax and audit resp for gaining understanding of how practically taxation system works and how audit is to be undertaken practically.

17 August 2013 I suggest not to look at audit or tax only but to have a balanced knowledge of all the subjects like tax, finance, audit, accounts, law etc. Because ca is not only about tax and audit.
