what is difference between TDS and TCS

TDS means Tax deduction at source and TCS means tax collection at source.
TDS would be deducted on the payment of expenses to the payer and TCS would be collected on the income to the receiver.
TDS would be deducted by the payer and TCS would be collected by the receiver.
TDS will be deduct from the payment amount and TCS will be collect in addition to the receipt amount.
