10 August 2012 We are a manufacturer and we have started our excise bill book manually (same has been intimated to excise department)from April-2012 and we have raised 7-8 invoice.
But now onwards we want to start excise bill book computerized, is it possible or not.
please advise with full procedure.

13 August 2012 you should raised the computerized invoice from 1.4.2013.

30 August 2012 Arun ji thanks for reply, but i have personally visited in Excise Department and asked the concern person regarding my query. they reply me that you can start computerized invoice from next invoice number what you want to raise and for that you have to intimate to Excise Department.

30 August 2012 Excise department is saying then after giving a intimation you can start computerised invoice.
