is short term capital gain computed on actual sale value or value as per D.M.Circle rate as on date

Sale value is taken as the price received for the sale of any asset at the time of sale or the date of sale, i am unable to understand what is DM circle rate?

DM circle rate is value on which stamp duty is paid.For LTCG computation this value is taken as sale price.Is it same for STCG too.

yes it is the same for any sale of aset whether short term or long term....
