While calculation H.R.A from salary Which amount should take for only basic salary.?
Eg. basic salary for the year amount Rs.250000 but employee received only 240000.
Eg. basic salary for the year amount Rs.250000 but employee received only 240000.

HRA is calculated on Basic salary which is fixed. For example, if the basic salary of an employee is Rs.10,000/- per month and HRA paid by the company is 30%, the his HRA is fixed for Rs.3000/- per month, even if the employee received/draw less basic salary for absent or other reason.
