22 September 2012 i join a pvt ltd company as a CS from 2nd july 2012, can i sing B/S & other document of financial year 2011-12.is compliance certificate necessary for 2011-12.

22 September 2012 Yes, you can certainly sign it ,if it is approved by the Board after the date of your joining i.e. after 2nd July,2012.You should be authorised by the Board to sign it.

22 September 2012 Yes, in case at the time of approval of accounts you have been appointed as CS, you must sign on the balance sheet to comply with the authentication of balance sheet under section 215 of the act.

22 September 2012 Probably you are asking whether Secretarial Audit Report will be necessary.Since, they have appointed a qualisied full-time Secy.,no such Audit Report will be necesary.

However,Compilance Certificate for Corporate Governance will be necessary,if it is a listed company.Otherwise not.
