28 February 2013 Sir,
I completed my 7 months articles in an audit firm under pressure..they are under taking outsourcing business and sending Ca Students to irrelevant works without their wish..if we ask for transfer they are blackmailing that they had all powers to not getting register in any other firm.
But I cant work under that firm ..they are telling that they would never sign for transfer.Even iam ready to leave my career but i dont want to continue in that firm..

sir,we dont have any rights against that kind of firms..if any please suggest ..

28 February 2013 Don't worry students also has rights to complaint against Employer. With full details including what you said above write to ICAI and ask allow to get termination from that firm. Then icai will give intimation to your employer to sign on form 109 otherwise automatically it terminate you with the other employer where you want to join for articleship. And one more thing employer has no rights to stop of articleship providing from other firms. So don't worry first make a complaint against your employer and firm As per ICAI regulation it is clear employer doesn't use the student for his personal use or in for other works which are not relevant for the CA course and articleship training. So you have rights and ways to terminate. Not only you many of the students facing same problems so don't worry first make a complaint directly to ICAI.
