22 July 2013 is the sum received as a compensation from husband to live apart taxable under it act?
either if the sum is received as a lumpsum on directions of court or I Wish to also understand if monthly maint. amount is received whether the same is taxable?

22 July 2013 As per recent rulling of court, lumpsum receipt is not taxable.

22 July 2013 I do not remember the case law by name but it is ruled by Delhi High court some where 15 days ago
