26 June 2015 Whether Monthly compensation or support money received by widow or legal heir of deceased employee from employer is taxable in hands of widow or legal heir?

Please give your opinion.

27 June 2015 Lump sum amount received is not taxable but since we are talking about monthly compensation in my opinion this would be taxable as gift from unrelated persons if aggregate exceeds Rs.50,000 in a year.

27 June 2015 I got the reference from my CA friend that it is not taxable. But under which section, he does not know and give any section reference.
