19 March 2010 I have filed Form 1, form 18 as well as Form 32 for a particular Company. The MCA has sent me a mail saying that SCANNED COPY OF PASSPORT DULY ATTESTED BY AO needs to be filed in an Addendum in Form 67.What does 'duly attested by AO' indicate?

19 March 2010 To the best of my understanding, AO stands for the local area officer. However, I am not sure. View of other experts requested.

20 March 2010 In process of forming the company if form 1 has been signed by the director itself then you have to get the passport photocopy certified by Notorary public.

If form 1 is signed by ca or cs then you get the passport attested by that ca or cs who has signed form 1.

Then you scan the same and file form 67 addendum.
