Company operation from another address

21 July 2013 Dear All,

I am salaried person but due to strange financial constraints, I decided to my part time business. I want to register a company with one of my friends house and he is agree for that but i cannot run a business from there as it is his house and i also live far from there. I live at another place.

My concern is that I do not want to open office because i cannot afford right now and another thing i do not do any correspondence from my friends house for my business.

I want to do my correspondence from one of my cousin home. both location comes in residential area.

Kindly advise how to do start my business and get registration for TIN / Drug Licence. At least, how should i write these address at my letter head and visiting card.

I want to my business as free lancer since i am salaried.

Very Important question, can i mentioned correspondence address at letter head where i live without registration of this with FDA Bhawan.
PLEASE HELP.

22 July 2013 Since you are starting business on a small scale, there is no restriction whatsover regarding the adress of your company.
Provided the following conditions are fulfiled:-
1. Remove the clause of Non Commercial Activity from your house agreemnt.
2. Your landlord and your nighbours/Society does not have any problem regarding your persual of commercial activty from your premises.

22 July 2013 Can i mentioned my correspondence address at letter head while it's not registered with authority? Does IT/Sales Tax INspector who verify the address will make the problem for it.

22 July 2013 Yes you can mention some other correspondence address apart from your registered office, provided it must be a genuine one.
And yes, you can register your company correspondence address whichever you want with the IT/Sales Tax etc. They will only contact you by the address which you have provided them and not by your registered office!
