27 August 2007 for incorporating a private limited company, i filed form 1A applying for the name.....but by mistake the name approved is with "limited" word instead of "private limited" and that too inspite of the particulars given were those required for private limited company.private word has not been taken into account.....can anybody help me out how can i get the name of the company changed........

28 August 2007 Pls. file a explanatory letter with the ROC stating the facts.

29 August 2007 Pl check with your copy of the form no 1A whether you have mentioned the name only as private limited company. If so please file a detailed letter enclosing the form no 1A uploaded to the Registrar and also if possible to meet him in person

I cann't believe it. There must have been mistake in filing name of company in Form 1A. ROC staff does not type name of company. Name is picked up from Form 1A by system. And what do U mean by particulars required were that of private limited company. Not clear. Check your form. No correction is possible. apply with fresh 1A. Ask ROC to consider your case in spite of similar name.
