10 March 2010 Which are those offenses which involves moral turpitude as per Companies Act?

15 March 2010 In Sec. 267, 274, 385 of the Companies Act, 1956 the words moral turpitude appears. Companies Act has not described the meaning of moral turpitude. Moral turpitude is anything done contrary to justice, honesty, principles or good morals, an act of baseness or vileness. Drunkenness at a public place leading to criminal conviction may in certain cases amount to moral turpitude. For more details you refer 'Guide to the Companies Act A Ramaiya' commentaries to sec. 267, 385.
