22 June 2011 can removal of auditor by members before the expiry of his term is treated as casual vacancy???

23 June 2011 If after the auditor was validly appointed, there is a vacancy in the office of auditor, this is called casual vacancy.

Reasons Of Casual Vacancy – This may arise due to Death, insolvency, incapacity, disqualification, resignation of auditor or
dissolution of CA firm etc.

Who could fill the Vacancy??

If it was due to resignation – Only by shareholders.

If it was due to other reason – By BOD (If BOD fails then by shareholders)

26 June 2011 Casual Vacancy is when the auditor himself resigns from the Audit...

When he is removed, then is removal and not vacancy...
