Friends, please help me in this...
Is rotation of auditors applicable to government company?

For Government companies CAG appoints auditor for a financial year with period of 180 days from the commencement of financial year. The auditor shall hold office till conclusion of AGM

Thanq sir... But In the applicabilty definition it is mentioned that Rotation of auditors is applicable to All listed companies. Further it mentioned that rotation is applicable to unlisted public, private companies, and all companies with some conditions.... we don't have clarity regarding this... whether all companies includes government companies?

But the appointment for auditor for Government Company is provided in the proviso clause which means appointment of auditor for Government company does not fall in the definition of all companies.

but under to that there is a seperate clause that it does not apply to one person company and small companies... Because of this also, some confusion araising
