Am I required to file MGT-14 and upload a copy of resolution passed at the General Meeting(EGM).
I would like to highlight that earlier it was necessary to upload Board Resolution in case of appointment of director,but now that requirement has been waived off vide Notification dt 05.06.2015.But in my case director has been appointed in general meeting by an Ordinary Resolution u/s 152 & 160 of the Co Act,2013
If yes,then under which provision of the Act.

It was not necessary to file form MGT-14 in case of appointment of director but it was mandatory in case appointment of KMPs which is no longer required in case of private companies.
Director appointed in EOGM u/s 152 read with 160 will not require form MGT-14.
In case it is a public company and you are designating him as WTD/MD as well as KMP then Form MGT-14 will be required.
