Dear Experts,
my client is having 4 lacs commodity trading loss in f.y.12-13. please advise where we have to show this loss i.e. business loss or other source loss or capital gain loss. My client is having business income.

Since it is a trading loss it is speculation business activity so show it as loss from business head and not other source.
