06 August 2012 Hi experts, do the lectures help for ipcc group 1 or otherwise coaching is must. I have almost lectures of all subjects

06 August 2012 Hello.
From my opinion people do not join coaching classes for just studying.
I mean , a different environment of study is created over there when u study in between large number of students. But when u study at home , it feels like u are studying in vacuum. means u need lots of consentration to study at home.
and it is seen in most of the cases that cpt pass outs lack consentration power( as they are new to the world of CA ). If it is not the case with u , then i advise u to study at home using the lectures u have.

07 August 2012 In a class room, one is forced to listen to lectures and also act on home work, exercises at class and useful discussion. After 34 years of my study, I completed American CPA by listening to lectures. The lectures were gems like and examination oriented. But one needs lot of concentration and also make notes when the lecturer asks you to note down important points. Apart from lectures, practice of questions, updating of latest information as informed by CA institute are equally important. Overall, the hardest work enables one to pass CA exams, some of the toughest in the world.
