hello experts i got in chaos in between CMA and CS plz help me out through this. I know that CS core knowledge is on company A/c and CMA is on costing,valuation but still needs a little enlightment on both

from academic view point- CS is more of theory and CMA is more of practical. So if you dont like theory don't go for CS and vice-versa.

Cost Accountant role is skewed towards number crunching with topics on Cost and variance analysis, budgeting and forecasting, MIS, cost records which has statutory recognition etc. However, the Company secretary discharges secretarial and corporate governance matters. A company secretary also is a Key Managerial Personnel in the hierarchy of the Management Structure of a company as recognized by the Companies Act, 2013. A Company Secretary is also empowered to carry out secretarial audits. Both the courses have their own share of charm and opportunities and it depends on which side you wish to lean more. End of the day one should be driven more by passion to sustain in any field rather than compelling to be part of a system where one does not wish to put his or her heart into.
