07 June 2014 Hello sir, I am a post graduate in Finance and working in Capgemini as associate consultant. For the purpose of further studies I have chosen CMA(US), I just want to know about its career prospects in India. After completing CMA(US) can I apply for the jobs which are for ICWA(India) in India?..Do the companies in India will accept CMA(US) as an alternative to ICWA.

07 June 2014 Indian companies may NOT accept CMA(US) in place of ICWA but the qualification is worth completing. IT will definitely enhance your value in job market. You can even think of doing CPA

07 June 2014 Thank you sir for your reply, I have also heard that those complete and get membership of CMA (US)they can also get the membership of ICWA india, can you share your view on this. But is it true that if you complete it from foreign country then only you will get membership of ICWA.

07 June 2014 so far as ICWA is concerned, you can do the same from India as well. It does not involve any articleship constraint like CA or CS.(By the way I am getting confused now.....what r u interested in? qualification upgradation or CMA or CWA? first decide that then the decision taking would be easy for you.)

07 June 2014 I am willing to do CMA (USA) after completing it should I get the ICWA membership as well.

07 June 2014 once u clear CMA, no need to go for CWA. CMA itself will speak for itself.....and one more doubt?..... r u thinking of going into professional practice or want to upgrade your qualification?

29 December 2014 I want to upgarde my qualification. As ICWA will take much more time to complete that is why I am thinking of doing CMA (US). But I am worry how it will help me in working in indian companies and MNCs in India?.
