19 July 2024 It sounds like you're facing challenges in obtaining necessary documents like a turnover certificate and salary slip from your previous employer for fulfilling the experience requirement to write CMA Final exams. Here’s how you can approach this situation:

### Turnover Certificate:

A turnover certificate typically verifies the turnover or revenue of a business or firm during a specific period. Here’s how you can request it:

1. **Request Letter**: Write a formal request letter to your previous employer requesting a turnover certificate. Include details such as the period for which you need the turnover certificate (e.g., months or years).

2. **Content**: The turnover certificate should ideally include:
- Name of the firm/partnership
- Period covered (start and end date)
- Total turnover or revenue figures for each year/month as applicable
- It should be signed by an authorized signatory of the firm.

3. **Format**: The format should be on the official letterhead of the firm, clearly stating the above details.

### Salary Slip:

A salary slip is a document that outlines the details of your salary payments. Here’s how you can request it:

1. **Request Letter**: Write a formal request letter to your previous employer requesting a salary slip for the period of your employment.

2. **Content**: The salary slip should include:
- Your name and designation
- Period covered (month/year)
- Breakdown of salary components (basic salary, allowances, deductions, net salary)
- It should be signed by an authorized signatory of the firm.

3. **Format**: The format should be on the official letterhead of the firm, clearly stating the above details.

### Approach:

- **Explain the Requirement**: Clearly explain to your previous employer that you need these documents to fulfill the eligibility criteria set by the CMA institute for writing the Final exams.

- **Follow-up**: If the firm is hesitant to provide audited balance sheets, emphasize that a turnover certificate and salary slip on letterhead should suffice as per the institute’s requirements.

- **Alternative Evidence**: If obtaining these documents proves difficult, consider providing alternative evidence such as bank statements showing salary deposits or any other official correspondence that can substantiate your employment and salary details.

- **Consult CMA Institute**: Contact the CMA institute for guidance if you face continued challenges in obtaining these documents. They may provide further advice or accept alternative forms of evidence in exceptional cases.

By following these steps and maintaining clear communication with your previous employer, you should be able to obtain the necessary documents to meet the CMA institute's requirements for writing the Final exams.
