Clubbing of Income

One of my client ( monther and father ) has one son ( minor ).
Till 31.03.2008 income of minor is clubbed in the income of father.From 01.04.2008 father becomes NRI and his income is from salary from foreign country. He recived salary there in foreign currency.
I want to know whether the income of minor can be clubbed in the income of mother or not?
Please guide.
