02 June 2013 one of my relative working as an employee in a bank. she had two kind of income 1. Salary Income & 2. pension income(Late husband income) . whether it is compulsion to show 2nd income in ITR. which ITR is to be filled. Till date she is showing Salary Income.whether it is compulsion to club such income.

15 June 2013 Yes. need to show 2nd income also in ITR. can be filed in ITR-1

15 June 2013 You can also claim deduction in case of family pention, i.e., Standard deduction is available under section 57 which is 1/3 of such pension or Rs. 15000, whichever is lower.
