Closure of producer company

20 March 2012 While incorporating new company, in Form 1 bymistakely Producer company option got selected instead of New company.

So, kindly provide the procedure to be followed for closure of company.

When the company got incorporated. If the company was incorporated recently then you can opt Form 68 for rectification of details in Form 1A or 1. So you can change the status of the company from producer company to new company others.

Thanks for the reply.
Company was incorporated 3years ago I.e. In 2008-09. But there has been no transaction in company till date except purchasing shares of other private company.
Can we still apply for rectification in form 68?

You may apply through FTE Mode for closure of Company. Sell the shares immediately and adjust that profit with the accumulated losses or Miscellaneous expenditure. Further details download the FTE Notification.
