10 May 2012 Sir,
An Assessee filed his returns for 2011-12 after due date and after filing of returns he has received the tds certificate and he has not accounted that income also. Now he can claim the TDS refund and he can revise the return please give solution in this regard.

10 May 2012 Ya there is a solution. As per circular of Income tax Dept. credit will be to Assessee when the Assessee has shown income in his income tax return.

hence, you can the that income in coming year and claim the refund ..

This is easier way. go ahead

Assessee not declared the income in 2011-12 Asset Year and not claimed the TDS because tds certificate has received after filing and filing has done after due date. Whether this income where he should declared in 2011-12 or 2012-13 Assest year, Which return Asst year has to revised? please give solution

10 May 2012 TDS credit is available in the year of bringing the respective income to tax.

if you can show the respective income in the next year, then you can surely avail the TDS Credit.

Thank you for your reply that means I have to consider the income in the Assessment Year 2012-13 and Claim the TDS credited in my account in Assessment Year 2011-12. I need not revise the Assessment Year 2011-12 return again. If I am correct please give reply OK. I am waiting for your reply
