Can anyone help me regarding CISA course. Up to what extent it help me. I am a qualified CA andnow placed in internal audit team.

Dear Ramji,
First of all I appreciate your interest in CISA. Being in internal Audit team, CISA qualification will be must down the line may be 2 to 3 years. Reason is simple, most of the organisations will be system driven where all the processing and controls will be integrated through computers. There will be minimum manual intervention. In such scenerio, our traditional audit approach will not work. In system driven scenerio , auditor need to know about system integration/sytem processing /Data security/Encryption techniques/ Network security/System Availibility and Backup processing. As a CISA holder you will have a edge over traditional auditors. I recommend you to consider DISA also once you complete CISA.
