23 April 2008 Earlier 12000/- education fees per child (2 child) was allowed. Whether this limit is withdrawn or still continued. pls help.

24 April 2008 Any amount paid (subject to 100000 limit) as tuition fees (excluding any payment towards any development fees or donation or payment of similar nature), whether at the time of admission or thereafter,

(a) to any university, college, school or other educational institution situated within India;

(b) for the purpose of full-time education of any of the persons specified

shall be allowed as deduction u/s 80C
