14 June 2019 Sir,

One of my friend is running a business at Hosur, Tamilnadu with GST registration. Now, he has to move
his principal place of business from Hosur to Chennai, Tamilnadu. He has no branches. Is it enough if he
give the details of his new premises under "Amendment of Core Fields - Principal place of business " ?

What about the change in the Judicial office of the State ( Local GST circle ) ? What should he do for
this ?

15 June 2019 Change of Address within state can be initiated by submitting an application duly signed and verified through electronic verification code, electronically in FORM GST REG-14 along with the required documents within 15 days of such change
However,
If the Officer is not satisfied with the documents then he/she can serve a show cause notice in FORM GST REG-03. The same must be replied by the applicant in FORM GST REG-04 within 7 days.

If the GST Officer doesn’t take any action within 15 days then it will be assumed that the information has been changed.
Once , you submit application and got approval , judicial officer will automatically update in portal .
